This is pretty interesting it basically goes into the mythological elements employed in Asura’s wrath as well as explaining why some of the more animu aspects are there.
Hell it actually explains WHY a lot of old Animu cliche’s got started. People over here always laugh at spikey glowing haired men bursting into explosive fire and doing crazy kung-fu. But if this is to be believed that’s basically the Eastern Equivalent to why we always imagine our Fantasy heroes wielding a sword and wearing plate armour.
Even though swords were a side-arm at best and plat armour was used used ceremonially almost 70% of the time.
This image in particular is interesting to think about.
I’m not particularly interested in the game itself (in that I probably won’t buy it), but all of this information is very neat.
